"Wilderness Bear" Faux Stained Glass with Brandee Benson for teens and Adults. You will create your own unique piece using the wide assortment of glass materials provided and learn how to mix/pour resin. Class space is limited, due to its popularity a $20 fee is required to participate. You must pre-register at the Hurley Library by stopping in or calling. Your spot will not be held until the $20 fee is paid to the library.

The Orphan Train: A Forgotten Chapter of History Join Pam Ekholm, Archives Assistant for the State Historical Society, for a compelling presentation on the story of the Orphan Train. June 3rd, 6pm at the Hurley Library. This little-discussed period in history is rarely covered in textbooks, yet it was an emotional and dramatic time for thousands of children from New York City. Through her research, Pam discovered a surprising local connection—the Orphan Train made its way to Northern Wisconsin. Don’t miss this powerful and eye-opening program!
